Hey everyone,

Hope you don't mind me posting this, as it's not very tech-related.

I've been lurking here for a couple months while I shopped for a used GS-R. However, it turned out I could get a really good deal on a new one (I guess because the RSX is here) so I went for that instead. Today I picked up my Milano Red GS-R. It's awesome. My dad bought one too, he's trading up from an LS.

I'm going to Evolution autocross school at the end of July, so now I need to get the car broken in before that.

I just picked up my new White '01 GSR also on Saturday. So you and your dad has 2 GSR's now eh? Pretty cool.....

Indy: why did you get rid of your '99 GS-R?

 

At the time I wasnt willing to fight the battle with theives. My car was pure stock and it somehow attracted so many theives. Financially I wasnt able to keep up with all the incidents...I have a $500 deductiibale...so eventhough everyone argue'd with me that insurance paid for the fix-ups, they didnt pay me the $500 I lost everytime something happened.
But now I should be ready, the $2000 rebate on the Tegs was godsend and I had to jump on it.
Driving the car today I couldnt beleive I ever gave it up...my '99 Teg is out there somewhere, I hope whoever has it is treating it well because I did......
