Default Suppress interior noise of a car

I don't know where this topic belongs but anyway here it goes...

What's a cheap way to lower the outside noise from coming into your car? You know, the exhaust, intake, the freeway drives...it all adds noise. I know it's not going to be quiet like the beamer's but my friend told me there's a spray you can coat on the bottom of your car to suppress some noise. I'm not into the performance (since I'll be giving it to my sis) but want to make the ride more comfortable.

I've been doing some research but can's seem to find a good way to suppress a noise. Firewall, trunk, the door panels...any ideas?

Isn't there an alternate material I've heard of that's cheaper then Dynamat? Dynamat is not cheap

Looks like out of all the noise suppressors out there "Brown Bread" beats the Dynamat and other brands by far...I think I might by one from eBay.

I love my loud car!

I'd suggest the dynamat like others have stated already.

Or you could just buy a luxery car?

Road noise owns me....

DO NOT GO WITH DYNAMAT. Check out RAAMmat. Best customer service and excellent product.

dont use any of that brand name **** unless your ready to spend alot of money. go to home depot and look for this stuff called peel and seal, same thing as dynamat, cheaper tho. i did my whole car 2 layers, cut down on road noise and suppressed rattles w/ my system, for 100 bucks. good stuff!

Go to your local store and pick up a box of dynamat extreme. If you are into weigh reduction, whatever you took out of your car will be canceled out with the dynamat. That **** weighs A TON!!!

I used to work at circuit city, and let me tell you.... that stuff is marked up also 100%. It costs them almost nothing to stamp that **** out. Use some egg crate and save yourself some money.

I have never heard of this tpye of thing, but what i want to know is whether it really works. I do not like ouside noise, but what do you expect from an acura or honda. Acura/Honda is a enconomical car manufacture, not a luxury company like m-benz.
