Need New tire, need recommendation
As I posted earlier, I got a huge bubble on one of my dunlop sp5000, I have just replaced it with my spare tire for now. I need a replacement tire and I'm not going to pay like 100 beans for another sp5000.
Anyone with a good recommendation for a "205/50/15 all season tire" for like 60-70 bucks?

Kumho Ecsta Supra's VR rated from tirerack.com. 358 treadwear and they have high marks in all grip categories except snow. They have thin sidewalls so they probably wouldn't be the best autox tire. I just bought a set and they're gripping pretty amazing so far. Not much tire squeel either. When I shift semi aggresively into second sometimes it catches and before the tires chirped, now they just give a good meaty chomp sound. I highly recommend them for their price.
You should run the same set of tires on all 4 of your wheels for several purposes.
An extra $30-$40 won't hurt you for the same tire. You spent all this money on a GSR. Don't be cheap w/ one tire.
It's like using 87 octane instead of 91+
Your car won't feel the same with 1 different tire and 3 others of the same.

I had the Nitto 450's on my car last summer, and, recently just bought the Kumho Supra's. The difference between the two are unbelievable! First of all, the Nitto's make a lot of noise when taking sharp turns, they're loud on the freeway, and, don't grip at all in the rain. My new Kumho's grip soooo well. Even in the rain, the Kumho's are excellent. They're quiet on the freeway, and, have excellent traction. I'd highly recommend these tires to you or anyone who's on a tight budget, but, what some good tires for the price you'll be paying.
