Am fixing to buy new pads for my 2 door v6 Accord and was wondering if there are better brake pads than stock to put on it?

 

Yes, there are. I have Axxis Metal Master, and I like them, especially their durability, but I know they have more extreme series.

 

I like the Nissin Super pads myself... PartsPalace.com carrys a big assortment of different types of pads at very low prices.

 

There are tons of aftermarket pads that you can get. In everything, it's a compromise between dusting, noise, longetivity (of the pad and rotors), price, etc...

Do an internet search for "performance brake pads." You should find companies like Carbotech, Hawk, Axxis, AEM, Nissin (same as AEM), and others.

well in my opinion, if you have stock rotors you should stay with oem pads.... thats the setup i currently have on my car and i havent had any problems, let alone weird noises.

 

Depends on what you mean by better.

I went with AEM because I didnt want the dusting of aftermarket pads on my wheels.
