I have a friend whos selling his t25 turbo from his 97 eclipse. would it work well with my 93 Si h23a? I know its a good turbo for civics but ive never heard of it being in a prelude.

A T25 is WAY WAY too small for an H23.....seriously, spend the extra money and get a real turbo......it's not worth the effort/expense to put on a T25.....

despite the effort, why is so not what to do? is it because my h22 is 2.2 liters? even though with the samn psi on a turbo you get more power the higher up in size you go, are you saying a t25 on my H22a1 at like 3-5 psi wouldnt do anything? I dont believe it!!!!!!!!!!! IMO it would be a hell of alot safer to run a t25 with out doin any internals! just my opinion too! Hey man go for it and let me know if it helps out, like a turbo wouldnt help anyways!

For the effort it would take to rig up even the most ghetto turbo kit using a T25, it's not worth it. A T25 isn't really even a good size for civic motors, those guys use them because they can get away with it. Our D16Y7 civic has a 16G, MUCH bigger than a T25, and it's about the right size (still a little small)....
But what do I know about turbos anyways.....

the T25 doesnt make much upper rpm power, and the exhaust gases get pretty warm, just making it a hair dryer. I would upgrade to a T3/T4 setup, or evo 16g, or if you wanna be really cheap a 14b off of a 1g eclipse
