Car Show Tips
Im entering a car show this weekend and its my first time so I was wonderin if you have any tips for me? Tricks of the Trade ya know. Im entering my 2000 EBP Civic Si. Thanks.
Make sure your car is super clean inside and out, under the hood, front and back of your wheels, and even under the car. Then show everything you have, sometimes judging is broken down by categories (ICE, interior, exterior, engine bay, undercarriage, modifications, overall look, etc.). Try to have at least something in every category. Anyway, that's what I have picked up in my very limited experience at the shows.
Edit: Oh yeah, and another thing, see who is sponsoring the show. They may have another category of scoring for their product (for example Street Glow, you would get extra scoring for your neon crap).

hehe, yeah you guys are right. i just felt like giving a newbie some ****.
But yeah, details detail details. clean that engine bay, letalone the rest of the car, like CRAZY. depending on how much you care, replace any rusted bolts or nuts, polish everything that can be polished (piping, valve cover, etc.). Cleanliness ownz in car shows.

Yeah, buy alot of JDM race parts that will never see the track to get abused. I think alot of judges are going for that type of look/style. It seems to win them over when you have race parts but dont race

Clean everything!!!!!!!!!!
Then try to make yourself some sort of display. Rope your car off, so little fawkers aern't all up in your ****. They like to touch your car like it is theirs. Plus if done right, having your car roped off looks nice.

Basically, clean everything and anything, spots, dust, anything, hide things such as loose wires, and bad flaws. pop and show everything. The more you show the more you gotta clean, but the more you show the more points it can get you. Also, parts on your car try to go with good items and not the everyday schmoe deal. good luck
