Anyone know if any companies make them ??

 

I checked all the sites that I know of that carry roll cages, no luck. I never have seen one for a Del Sol either though.

ask "mospeed" on h-t....the del sol he has, has a roll cage on it.

 

His was from Cusco, was like a one time thing or so....hell your gonna have to get creative and have one custom made.

Yup. But don't be a tool like one of the kids I saw on cardomain who bought a 4 point one when it doesn't fit. He had to put 2 of the cars threw his air vents.

 

You're pretty much looking at a custom job. I've been looking for aobut 6 months now. There's a guy on HT that told me he makes them but I emailed him about 5 times trying to get a price or more info and got nothing. Cusco makes/made one but they don't have any here in the U.S. anymore apparently. Plus for the price you could get one custom exactly the way you want.

 

Yeah I had a real long talk with Mospeed about his cage, but he said Aj racing would be the best place to order that unless you know anyone in the US that distributes Cusco. I'm not sure if Autopower makes one, but most show Del Sol's ran with Monkey bars. They look too crammed and seems like they can do more harm if your kinda tall. I am about 5'11" and my friend is 6'2" and we tried a roll cage on our Del Sol's and it seemed too close for comfort.

 

Autopower does not make one, as said above cusco makes one but is a four point cage and cost's like 1200 us or more... for that much you can get one custome made, Dave, there is a guy here in the RDU area member of my car club that just start a cage place, I am talking with him abount makin me a roll bar, and I am sure he could make u a cage.
