MPFI on CRX DX & Future Engine Swap
been reading this site for awhile now... most of my questions have been answered...
i couldn't yield anything relevant to this question via the search or the internet
so here's my question: I plan to do some type of an engine swap (still mentally debating) sometime this summer, I was wondering if i should put in the Si MPFI, manifold, and such now? Is it a waste of money? Would that wiring/setup be helpful and if so, what extent (besides me needing a MPFI)?
Thanks in advance!!!

bump... and another question too: can you get AC with a B18 swap? i know you can with a B16 with brackets but i haven't heard much on B18's.
thanks!!!
thanks!!!
im currently doing an MPFI swap on my CRX DX myself. i've heard that it would be much easier on the longrun for wiring if you do the MPFI conversion. Also, MPFI is not expensive...i paid $140 for my whole setup and they said that performance will be greatly improved on your CRX. And when you are ready to drop in your new engine....you can sell your MPFI conversion back to someone and not lose that much money...agp
I would definately do the DPFI to MPFI swap first. You will be happy with the power upgrade for the main time before you do the swap and also it will be less to worry about when you do the swap since it will already be done and running so that will be one less thing to trouble shoot if your swap doesnt run. As for the A/C in the B18 swap isnt it the same bracket for the B16 swap to run A/C?? I could be wrong?
