Default b20z into ef sedan

would swapping a b20z into an 89 dx 4 door be the same as swapping into a crx ? i had a tentative list of what i would need but then the recipient car changed ... staying stock b20z ... no frakenstein

90-93 teg axles.
90-91 teg dizzy
90-91 pr4 teg ECU
any non hydrolic cable type tranny (LS for boost and GSR or YS1 for
all motor)
hasport shift linkage
90-93 drivers side eng. mount to make the mount compat.
w/ the hasport mount.
any b series header
90-91 LS Intake manifold complete w/ the Injector resistor for dx
hasport mounts

If you actually want to make good power with your B20, get a 1994-1995 P75 ECU and a 1994-1995 LS intake manifold. And use the distributer that came with the B20. This is cheaper and better than buying a 1990-1991 LS ECU, distributer, and intake manifold. Also, I would not recommend a GSR YS1 if engine longevity is important to you. Besides, a B20 has sufficient torque to competently pull an LS transmission.

yeah for god sakes convert to obd1 so you can use the better manifold, dizzy, and ecu if you going for a nice swap like that don't just half-*** on the wiring. and rest.

If you're looking for a wiring nightmare then yes use the 94-95 P75 and Dizzy. Your list is just fine, but yes use the 3rd gen LS IM. Sell the OBDII Dizzy and use the 90-93 Injectors too. Good luck.

I'm doing this soon (as soon as the head gasket comes). I have a sedan and it will be obd0 with the stock low rize mani. I hope that chamber clears the hood. If it doesnt I will make a little alum plug. I might have to use the stock injectors too because the obd0 ones are a bit taller than the obd2 ones.

The car now:

The motor. 99 B20Z2.

Why cant he use the newer mani with the obd0? All the sensors have the same plugs (IACV, IAT, MAP, TPS).
