Help me remove these two parts...
1) Distributor Rotor. "Remove the rotor's retaining screw and gently pry it off the distributor shaft." Where the hell is that screw? I see plenty of screws on the distributor itself, but not on the rotor.
2)Shift boot. I tried just pulling on the plastic around the boot and it lifted a little (two retainers in the rear of the piece). Is there a trick to getting this piece off? I don't want to pull and break the retainers if I'm missing something.

1. the screw is kind of hid inside the rotor. Feel around on it and you should find it, you might want to give your car a short crank to turn the rotor that way it is easier to access the screw. Be careful not to strip the screw, use a good screwdriver that fits well.
2. You need to remove the whole plastic piece. then the boot wll come out. I cant remember exactly how to do it but it is pretty easy. Just take the two screws out ( the ones under the little plastic cap under the E-brake) then I think there are 2 screws on the front sides like the kick panel part, then remove the ashtray and there is 1 or 2 screws there. That should be it I believe, then you need to take of your shift ***, and the piece should lift out. Then you will be able to see how to remove the boot.

The thing is there's only a small part that you stick a screwdriver in to remove the screw holding the rotor in, and its on the side facing the rear, not towards the front. You have to crank the engine until you can see the screw in that small window, which is about 60 degrees of a circle. I had problems with this too at first because I had no idea where the screw is, just keep cranking a little at a time until you see the screw, then you unscrew it.
