Which spring rates do you plan to run?

What are the spring rates that come with the sus? Streetable = not having to put a 3" lift on the R.

I believe you have to purchase springs separately with the N-Zero kit.

The spring rates will play the biggest factor in determining ride quality, which is what I'm guessing most people base "streetability" on.

How about the rates F18k R16K. Can any spring be used?

Any spring with the proper diameter will work.

It is a matter of what you deem streetable.

I'd daily drive a car with 18k/16k but would most people say "it's too stiff"? Probably.

I had 18/16 on my car and it wasn't very fun (Spoon showa dampers)

I guess it depends on where you live and how good/bad the roads are. Personally I couldn't see myself riding on a set of springs stiffer than 14/12 and that's pushing it for where I have to drive.

If I lived in a smoother part of the city....hell....20/18 all the way!!!

Roads on Macadamia Island must be smooth as glass

I guess yo may have to call Mugen/Kings to see what is the max springs rate this N-Z damper can handle. I guess they should have some recommand springs rate for you.

I'm using F12K, R8K, it is streetable for me but I will not go any higher cuz the road here is bad.

If the mugen N1 springs are what you are referring to, I don't think they come in such soft spring rates.

Yes the are street worthy. I run them on my R. The max rate for the NZ is a 1000in/lb. The Mugen Dampers use a 2.5" diameter spring. I'm running 7" springs in front and 8" springs in the rear. 500in/lb and 630in/lb respectivley.

My first track event on these was the Expo and I was extremely impressed.

Have you tried running the 8kg/mm (448lb/in) springs in the front and the 12kg/mm (672lb/in) springs in the back? That would make a great track worthy setup. You'll get good rotation out of it...late

I know what you mean.....but the road here is pretty bad and I don't think it will be safe to drive around with that set up. Btw....I already have some "overdamping" in the rear when I drive thru some even surface, it will get more worst if I put the 12K spring to the back.

anyway thanks for your suggestion
