urgent info needed for gsr ecu
ok here it goes. my buddies friend just bought a 92 civic hb with a gsr swap already in it. Now on to the problems, first of all besides it being the ugliest and most sloppy job Ive ever seen the Vtec is not working. Ive checked all the obvious and everything is fine so I checked the ecu. It has a P07 ecu in it. Ive searched for a while and cant even find a P07 listed anywhere. I need to know if this is in fact a gsr ecu. Any info would be greatly appreciated
no its not. p72 is a gs-r ecu. if its a gehtto swap, the knock sensor probably wasn't wired. run a chipped p28 or something. borrow a friends ecu to test.
Cool I thought it wasnt. I just talked to the actual owner and he informed me that the rev limiter kicks in at about 6000 rpm as well. Looks like Im going to become very familiar with a Gsr swap now. Also could anyone post a link to info about connecting the intake for the secondary plate in the manifold?
