jdm 4-1 2.5" collector
stock cat for now (carsound 2.5" later)
greddy evo 2.36" or apexi n1 2.36"
I was planning to do this setup pretty soon depending on how things worked out and stuff. but after reading some posts and articles on team-integra.net this would cause back end pressure, therefore ruining the flow as the exhaust piping gets smaller. What should I do? get a 2.25" header, 2.25" cat, along with a greddy evo or apexi n1?
OR
jdm 4-1 header, carsound cat, along with a 2.5" exhaust (I dont know of any 2.5" exhaust)
stock cat for now (carsound 2.5" later)
greddy evo 2.36" or apexi n1 2.36"

t1r makes a full 2.5" exhaust
smsp makes full 2.5" exhausts too
i personally wouldnt go with the greddy or the n1

That dc jdm header is 2.5" and the carsound cat is also 2.5" right? apexi n1 is 2.36" well according to ti (team-integra.net) this will cause back end pressure, therefore ruining the flow of your exhaust system.
so which 2.25" header would perform best along with a greddy evo cb?
from xdeep and michael delaney (team-intega):
The best way it seems to me is to have it a consistent 2.25" diameter all the way through or step the diameters up as you move further to the back.

well im just waiting on a jdm itr 4-1 header after thats fulfilled ill be getting a carsound cat. and in the meantime the evo will do even though it has smaller diameter piping.
damn, i wanna know too, now i have a Tanabe catback now, and my JDM DC Header is sitting at home getting ready to be installed with a test pipe or either a carsound, i had a test pipe already, im still looking for a carsound instead, my question is, would i lose power??? 2.5 header/cat to 2.36 catback?? would it affect anything big?? i have no big plan, just all motor.

Greddy does in fact make a catback system that is 2.5". They are requested upon order. Contact my buddy, his PM is accordexchange...he can hook you up with good prices on these systems.
I am planning to get a 2.5" system soon too.

with dc jdm header, 2.5 carsound and apexi catback i would lose power however would it produce more power than regular header, testpipe, and the apexi catback?

that's what i have always heard too. i am doing the same setup as you guys (2.5" header and cat, with evo). ive always heard that this setup is fine unless you are making above like 200whp, as silverb18c1 just said.

Just go to Team-Integra.net, it is explained perfectly there. Everything you ever wanted to know about exhausts is covered in that article.
