Default Replacing 1998 Prelude Key

Hey all, this is my first post here.
I bought the car used and it came with only one key. Does anyone here know of a cheaper way to replace the key than paying $20 to the dealer for the key and an additional $85 for the coding?

the only other way to do it cheep would be to use a DEI 555U or DEI 555H to bypass the immobilizer system perminently (or using a switch of some sort). This is risky in the fact it makes it easier to steal your car (if hooked up perminently). The 555U you put your key with the chip into, the other remembers the code IIRC. This way you can get any old copy at walmart to work. Short of this, you're going to have to spend the $$ for honda to do it.

I'm trying to find the person who bought my '98 Prelude so I can give them the extra keys. I sold mine in VA though.

The bypass idea doesn't sound like a worthwhile option. I guess I am SOL. Yes, I do (at times) miss my 4th gen, they do rule. I guess I'll just have to nut up and drop some cash on the key. ****.
