aren't the bumper supports, big ol metal things??? they look like they weigh a good 25 lbs or so??

The bars themselves weight around 25-35 lbs each. The JDM support brackets weigh like 10 lbs for both sides. I'm running JDM support brackets on my Integra, but that's only because we have lots of them lying around our shop and it was easier to use than finding the full beam that was straight.

so do u have the support beams in???
i have noticed on the front of tegs when doing the jdm conversion that of course you take out the support beam, but for jdm tegs they have this little bar that goes across, now what the hell is that supposed to do?

I removed mine for a Big Mouth bumper install after a head on accident, now I am going back to stock and I no longer have my support, is it worth buying or should I just throw a stock bumper on and be done? I think it could help protect my intercooler from getting damaged in a frontal accident though. How much do you sell the JDM supports for? Can they go on a USDM bumper setup w/o modification?

had to take mine out temporarily to get a body kit on to get it home....we weighed it , it was something like 22 pounds really not worth it when you consider saftey if its something you drive daily....... my opinion anyway

My bodyshop told me the bumpers would sag when it got really hot out if they cut the supports out. Not sure if I beleived him. But i think it is a good point.
