Default G2 or G3 ??

Hey peeps, I was just wondering... What would be more tasteful and more ideal?... I'm thinking about purchasing a used car.. (for commuting to and from work, etc..) I was thinking about looking into a G2 integ' if possible a GSR.. But if not then a G2 integ' LS, or GS... I was just wondering would it be more ideal, if I just tried to get a G3 integ' instead..Since I'm planning to work on the car, for awhile... I would like to try all motor @ first... I know for the G2 integ' its curb weight is a bit lighter than the G3... But is it that much worth it, in performance?... Can I swap a B16A or B18C1 into the G2 integ'.. and which swap would be more reliable and more of a benefit.. I believe the B16A is the 00' SI engine right?... plz correct me if i'm wrong...
Or, should I just stick w/ the stock engine the G2 integ' GSR, GS, or LS, comes with when I find one, and just work w/ what I have??...... Or.. should I go w/ the G3 integ... But I know I would have to wait a bit longer before I have enough ends, to purchase a G3 integ'.... Arghh decisions, decisions... I'm planning on keeping the car for quite awhile, until all my debts and penaltys have been paid off.. And then most likely I would start saving up for a sports sedan..Most likely looking into the 02' 5-speed-Manual IS300... Well, enough of my rambling... any opinions, preferences, ideas.. would be greatly appreciated... Thanks...

Oh man this is soooo tough for me you see I have a G2 Integra and I love it i have put soo much into it but still if you are looking for a quick build do the DC2 it is so much easier to modify get a GSR so you have a good starting point and build it from there. the sky is the limit on the upgrade possibilities on either car it is just that the sky is higher on the G3

More stuff is available for the g3...but I have heard from several people that the g2's are tighter cars...especially in the suspension. Haha...Ive got one and I love it, plus I think the body style is sweeter!

DC2??... well I'm seriously planning on doing the B18C1 swap.. But what parts are out there for a G2 swapped B18C1??... Most likely I'll have to modify them to fit onto a G2 integ equipped w/ a B18C1 huh?.. Also plz word some opinions regarding why I should get the G2 or why not.. vice versa w/ the G3... maybe a 94 most likely... Also opinions on which generation would look nicer and more tasteful would be greatly aprreciated!! .. hehe... I think I would need to hear a bit more compliments on each Gen. for me to really decide on which to buy.... Thanks again...

'92-'93 GSR is the best place to begin in my opinion. They look better than your other choices and they offer a strong starting point. Strong engine, tighter handling, light chassis. PLUS- they're a bit more unique then the 20 million G3's that are around. If you're looking to swap a B18C immediately...get RS/LS/GS. Take that with a grain of salt because I don't know much about swaps but I do know the 2G GSR's are pretty rare and it would be a pity for you to toss out the 1.7 liter VTEC motor that came in them.

I like the G2's, but, I'd have to go with the G3's. I have one myself, and a friend of mine has a 92 GSR, and, my car feels soo much more solid than his. The G2's also have a problem with rusting very fast! I don't think I've ever seen a G2 that hasn't had body work done to it, that hasn't had rust on it. The G2 can have any B series motor swapped into it. But, the space is limited. I know you said that you want to stay all motor, but, what if you change your mind in a year from now? Its not very easy to add a turbo to that car. You have to start out by removing your AC. Doesn't sound like much fun to me, especially when you have one of those 100 degree days and you wish you had that wonderful Air conditioning.
