Yeah I have to replace both of mine(outer tie rod end). Jack up the car and grab the wheels at 9 and 3 o'clock. shake it in and out. If it moves, then they need to be replaced. Majestic Honda has them for $40.64 each side.

pretty much, if your steering is a little loose the the ball joints on the ends of your tie rods are going bad. they naturally tend to go bad after a while and will get loose. they are fairly easy to replace and most local auto parts stores can get them for i think around $20 a tie rod end.

Also be sure to get an alignment asap after installing them.

Try Majestic Honda. They are just about the same price you'd pay at Autozone or Pepboys. And it's OEM. I just bought mine a few days ago. If the boot is torn, you'll want to replace that NOW, before your rack turns to crap. I waited too long and now I need a new one. They cost $250+ from Autozone or Pepboys and twice that much from Honda. The cheapest place to get those would be the classifieds or junkyard. I would expect to pay about $50 or so for a used one.

If they're the originals, replace both of them. $30 a piece from AutoZone, and get an alignment afterwards (you have to!).

so i replaced both outer tie rod ends (right side was 30 bucks and the left side was 40 who knows?) from pepboys and got an alignment and still crap....

so after replacing rotors and pads, tie rod ends, hubs, hub bearings, and axles, and a crap load of money, my car drives smoother than a baby's az

now it want to lower it a little more because when i did the alignment driverside was -3.3 degrees camber and passenger -2.5. If i put a camber kit i think it will make my car even higher also i cant lower it too much because it will probably rub fender wells .... any input??
