RSX woes From HELL!!!
Guys, my sis just took her BASE rsx in for her 15,000 mile service.
The car was running fine before, and after the service.
Now, yesterday morning, she says she tried starting it. It didn't start, but she made the excuse that she didnt crank it over long enough (she let off early) She then proceeded to try and start it up again. While that happened, she said it felt like it wanted to kill (during the start) so she said she gave it gas while cranking it and it started up and ran.
THEN the check engine light went on ever since...
She called the Acura dealer, and they said give it time, and that the light would go away after time...
Is that true? Any thoughts/opinons?
Thanks

If there is another Acura Dealership in your area I would take it in for a basic check up just to be on the safe side. Rather be safe then sorry. If anything should happen to that car you can bet your *** the dealership will give her hell about it.
Good luck bro.

During her brief start-up mishap, Readiness codes for OBD-II were not completely checked thus...saving the freeze data in the computer, storing a DTC, and illuminating the MIL (Check engine light). After three consecutive trips where all five rediness codes were reset without any fault, the MIL went out. The car will be fine. Thank you, Come again!
