Default daytime running lights

i've seen some integra's with the high beam wired as daytime running lights. does anybody here know how to properly wire and send power the the high beams. where would i get the power source?

i think maybe it requires no modification at all, nothing but changing the high beam bulbs to a lower output bulb and turning on your high beams.

how do they do it?

In Canada, R's come from factory with DRL's. They run the high beams in series so they come on at half intensity. There's a big juicy $170(cdn) relay that accomplishes this. Otherwise, it would be quite the pain in the butt to do!

why would you want to do this? The only reason I would even consider doing this, would be if they changed the laws mandating it. I hate DRL's, but it is law in Canada....
