changing drive belts...
is there a specific order in changing them...is there any site with a DIY step by step procedure with pics...im wondering if by changing my drive belts i will get rid of some of the squeeks and squeels from the pulleys...(power steering belt whines with the rpm)(alternator belt makes this slight thumping sound at idle like its not rotating smoothly) figure changing the belts and cleaning up the pulleys will give me a lil smoother feel....comments,tips,advice,flames,whatever, is all appreciated....thanks..
You have to remove them from outside-in.
Power strg, then AC, then alternator.
For the AC belt, you can just cut the belt to remove it, but you'll still need to remove the lower engine mount to put the new one back on.
Tension them properly.
