When its cold the Park light does not come on so I can't get the keys out of the ignition. Only when the car gets warm will the Park light go on and the keys come out. Suggestions?

 

maybe its the cold air or something about the moisture it needs maybe some oil. I think maybe its the friction or maybe your not turning it right. and maybe when it gets war from the moiture that is frozenneeds time to warm up so it can free itself?

 

wait, are you saying it wont go into park if the car is cold?

 

While its still cold, can you push the shift lever forward, a little farther into park? If this works, then you probably need to adjust either your shifter cable or the interlock switch, or both.

Probably needs the shift possition switch cleaned and adjusted or replaced.

 

just rub your ***** if u have any. all over the lamps they probally still wont work but it will feel pretty good
