if anything..only ex did but even with those i believe it was an optional feature.

Not only the EX did. Any of them did, but it was an option so you won't find many. Here's a DX that has one....

i've always wondered how easy it would be to install i know ther are tons and tons of crx sunroof setups laying around in california.

none of the US market 88-91 civic 4drs came with factory equipped sunroofs....if you see a sunroof on a 88-91 4dr then it is aftermarket
