Default Goodbye Integra... Hello new integra with a few ?s

I am selling my 1990 integra 5 speed first off I had it as an extra car and dont need it anymore here is the link if anyone is interested https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=485082

But I want to buy a 4 door gsr so badly. I will have about 4500 saved by next saturday and when I sell my integra now I will have that much more. So it should be within the next month if I can find the right one for the right price. My question is this. Besides the motor being the same and everything under the hood is the 4 door platform just as good to build as the 2 door. I am somewhat into drag racing at the track maybe about 2-6 times a year. And I would like to get into autcrossing nothing major just to have fun and try something new. I also wanna keep reliability and driveability. Will the four door be just as good as a 2 door gsr would be? I love the look of the 4 door so much and need something 4 door anyway. I plan on doing jdm stuff like itr full exhaust from the header back type r cams and IM, possibly type r pistons, type r clutch flywheel and a few other things. Just let me know if the 4 door platform is just as good as the 2 door.

Just as good. If you are super hardcore, you might care about the 90lb weight penalty...but its not that much. Especially when you consider the extra utility. If you want, i'll sell you my '95 GSR sedan. I'm the original owner, and i'm about to put a JRSC in it

the GSR sedan is very respectable. Very clean and very fun.

I dunno about drag racing and **** in it. But other than that you will have a blast. 90 lbs extra is not really that much. You might have to work a little harder down the road for some 1/4 mile times if you are that hardcore about it, but you shuold be fine.

I say just build the suspension up on and enjoy the drive.

Watch out for hauling too many people around tho. I had a clean *** sedan a while back, and people wanted to bum rides off me all the time.

IMO... take the back seat out... lol

Also I dont feel like driving to ny to get it either but let me know all details I really doubt I can afford yours but one day maybe mine will be as nice as yours.
