Are you using a VX motor and ECU still? You'll need a 5-wire for that. If you are converting to a 4-wire from a swap then it's best to run 4 new wires to the ECU. The plug doesn't have all the wires you will need.

Just run the wires on the 4-wire o2 to the wires coming out of the ECU..

yel/blk - A25 - 12V switched
org/blk - A6 - O2 heater control
grn/wht - D22 - sensor ground
wht/red - D14 - O2 signal wire

ok i have a gsr swap with a vx engine harness. but i wanna wire the 4 wire o2 sensor into the engine wire harness not to the ecu.. i dont wanna run all these wires through the fire wall. the vx engine wire harness has a different plug (5 wire) but can i wire my 4 wire o2 sensor to the plug wires?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Houston Hatchback &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">ok i have a gsr swap with a vx engine harness. but i wanna wire the 4 wire o2 sensor into the engine wire harness not to the ecu.. i dont wanna run all these wires through the fire wall. the vx engine wire harness has a different plug (5 wire) but can i wire my 4 wire o2 sensor to the plug wires?</TD></TR></TABLE>

No you can't wire into the old plug. It is a wide band o2 and is different than the 4-wire and not all the wires are there. Plus the o2 is now on the back of the header where the plug for the old VX o2 is on the front. Either way you'll have to run some new wires so just do it the easy way.
