Brake upgrades 11" brakes like WHOA !!!
When I bought my car it came with fairly new cross drilled slotted rotos and stock brake pads.
The braking performance was great.
Then I got new tires and realized that the stock pads couldn't lock up these newer gripper tires
So I gave a call to andie at cobaltfriction for some pads
I got hooked up with some Cobalt GT-Sports for the front and Axxis Ultimates for the rear. At the same time I bought some Goodridge steel lines from a local vendor.
Fantastic performance. stopping power was increadable
I came across a set of used ITR calipers for a good price, in mint condition (looked brand new)
So now I have 11" rotors from fastbrakes (thanks brian) A new set of Cobat GT-Sports for the new ITR calipers.....and I must say I am very happy with the results. the new brakes really fill up the wheels and the brakes feel great...I can't wait till these are really broken in, and bleed properly
By the way now my old cross drilled slotted rotos are for sale

Also selling my old calipers, IM me

the fastbrakes kit for the rear uses the stock caliper...so the braking power isn't really increased much....since the surface area isn't increased...it will modestly be better braking power...since the pads are further away from the center.....IMO ...only for looks..and to fill up the rear wheels
