Default Compustar or THIS?!

ProScout GPS Car Tracker

*IF* your car gets stolen, you can track it with your computer using GPS! Heck, you can follow your car and find where they stay and go in and BUST THEIR a$$es!!!! ..........and then call the cops. heh heh

$690, it's comparable to a full Compustar 2WSS system with all the options/installed.

LOL.

One problem though. It is not realtime. The information is stored and then needs to be connected to a computer to be retrieved. Or that is what I get from reading it.

You want a CSI wireless piece (or whatever), not that thing. Something that will report either to you or the cops//alarm co. (or both) that your car is moving while 'armed'. Make sure it comes with a back up battery also.
For a real system expect to pay up to 20 $ a month after its all in for monthly monitoring.

Compustar gets 2 from me. I have 3 cars with 3 different alarms and I'm saving up to change my other 2 cars over to compustar. I bought mines from a friend who is a dealer so I got it for 250 and 100 to install so if you can get a hookup get the compustar.
