my friend put a DX tranny on his car, and he hates it...when he shifts he's too far out of the powerband...

Hell no...only person that could say they like it is somebody that has never driven a fast Honda before.
98civicEX.....you should tell your friend not to **** when driving....all that squirming in the seat makes him take his foot off the pedal, so no wonder it takes so long to get into the powerband
