Default Different part numbers on 98' axels?

Time to replace the axels... Someone said that the 98' GSR axels with the green painted stripe were a little different... mine have a green stripe on them... However, I've never known there to be a difference in the 94-2000 ABS axels... Input anyone?

the only difference i know of is between GSR and ITR axels. ITR axels do not have the rubber dampening coller located about 4 inches in from the outer CV joint.

pretty sure the ITR axels have a yellow/orange stripe. interchangable in 3rd gen though.
