balance shaft

im on my waty out the door to take them off.......can i do it easy with the motor in the car or should it be out ......is it going to hurt my motor cause im not getting anyhting balanced untill i have another car around to drive while the motor is out

to take them out, the motor has to be out.

you can just remove the belt if the motor is in the car.

no no to take the belt off
or do i just cut it off

yeah i would also like to know the easiest way....

id rather not cut it so is there a way to loosen the tension?

also, do i just remove the cover to get to it or is it pretty involved get the belt off?
