swap or rebuild???
ok here is the situation, my ls motor has 98k on it and i plan on boosting it but i dont know if i should rebuild for boost or jus get a newer motor for about $700 then i could run low psi on stock internals until i can get some more money for internals.. i only say this because the way i see it a rebuild is a lot more expensive especially for boost but im not too sure, please help me out
what should i do? thanx

i say boost the one you have now..low of course see how you like it. If you still have the itch build it up.
...Thats what i always said ot myself...if i blow it the LS engines are cheap..i can always buy another

Rebuild it yourself. You will spend less than a newer LS motor and have the opportunity to "upgrade" the internals. You'll also have a practically "new" motor.
yea... no point in buyin a new motor... only for it to be a b18b again.. same ****.. do wat the guy above jus suggested wit da low boost, and then save some money up for a rebuild... hell if your bad with saving lump sums.. then once u have money for one of the rebuild parts... buy it and store dat sucker in ur living room. SEeing it everyday will motivate you to save up more money and at a quicker pace. gluck.
