Speedometer Problem
1st check to see if the speedo cable is properly plugged into the tranny. If the cable is plugged into the tranny properly then the cable is probably broken. Get a new speedo cable form the dealership. Get a repair manual for your car if you don't have one already.
The cable is black with a rubber boot on the end. There is a cilp that holds the cable in the tranny so it doesn't pop out while driving. Its suposed to be in this pic but I don't see it.

its right there, number 4, that whole cable is the speedo cable. where the #4 is pointing to is where it hooks to the gauge cluster, and at the other end is where it goes into the tranny. that rubber boot in the middle is where it goes in the firewall.
