it is clean, but it's missing alot of chit that a stock bay would have: power steering, A/C, battery, etc

this motor just came to life a couple days ago, so no dyno's yet. Got to break it in first.

How much would a coversion like that cost?
If I sold my b18c5 botom end, would thta fund the conversion? say a b20 bottom end with some high CR pistons?

Thanks.

if you could sell your block minus water pump oil pump and misc other stuff on the outside-basically the block, crank, rods and pistons for something over 1k, you could prolly end up spending 1-1.5k to build up a 2L block.

ok i suggest we setup another meet in wla...
and lineup for rides in shawn's yeah-mobile.
we can all sip those "boba" drinks while watching the B20 romp down olympic blvd. maybe VagoITR and hybridgen2 can have a "boba" ball distance match.

wow, this weekend i got to feel the wrath of btec. omgosh, its almost uncontrolable. i did a rolling start in second gear and when btec kicked in, i spun the front wheels! i have the honda LSD and was running my kumho victoracers so you understand the torque that spunn both wheels at the same time! i love it

Shawn,

........looks good and I bet it rips! U might not wanna rev it too high I hear these stock bottom ends don't like to be revved up!

.........back in January I witnessed a EG hatch with a B20 similar to yours but with the GSR head totally destroy a SOHC turbo EG at the Ontario street races. He beat him by like almost 2 cars! As it turns out the guy 's car is on the FF squad's website http://www.tiiite.b16a.com ! All I know is that everyone was givin' this guy mad respect!

........I can only imagine whut your car feels like. The closest I have come to experiencing a hyrid motor is my friend Dave's GSR w/ built LS/VTEC. All I can say is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!

I can wait to take a ride...........LATES!
