Problem with xenon lights for New civic Si
Hi ,
I have bought xenon lights for my car which at the moment has H4 lights but I have a problem......
The H4 bulbs I have are full beam and head lights in one bulb so if I take the H4 bulb out and replace it with the xenon light I have bought I will only have head lights no full beam.
Do you have any ideas of what I can do?
So Does anybody know who is selling set of new lihts for new civic Si

huh? Did you buy "xenon" blue bulbs or HID xenon gas lights? If you bought the HIDs you probably didn't buy the high/low kit that both Phillips and Catz are selling now. They allow you to have continued use of both your high and low beams.
Yes I mean HID xenon gas lights actually is hole set with small boxes and special cables .But I think is unprofessional job I will have you the silicon paste Do you know what i mean Yuck maybe for a several weeks I will have throw out my light ;]]

There are no double "filiment" hid bulbs to replace an H4 lamp. You will loose your highbeams. You more than likely can wire your hids to come on with hi and low but at inspection time a good tech may not pass you. Newer cars (BMW) have what they call bi-zenon? hids that slide a lens in front of the bulb when hi is selected to reaim lamp output.

Acually that is completely wrong, the new BMW 3's have 2 sets (Bi Xenon) insted of just normal bulbs for highs. To my knowledge it is the first production car to have HID high's. But in your case you have a double filiment bulb stock and you need to replace it with HID's with the little cover that flips up when you activate your high beams. That only happens on aftermarket kits no stock cars have thoes.
ACTUALLY
.... you can purchase HIDs with a high beam and low beam in one bulb. I just purchased the Phillips 5000k H4 high/low kit from http://www.xenondepot.com. The kit retails from $500-$600 and comes in three different light temps, 4100k, 5000k and 6000k. I believe Catz also has a kit out, but I'm unsure of the pricing. I'll post pics next weekend after they're installed.
