Acura Integra All Integra Except ITR

For those who know... is the 98 Integra the same car as the 2000 and 2001 Integra, mechanically?

Default For those who know... is the 98 Integra the same car as the 2000 and 2001 Integra, mechanically?

An authoratative source to me says it is..... but I disagree.... if the statement holds true then why not the 1999 Integra the same? Wierd.

Anyone out there that can answer the question with certainty?

yup pretty much the 98-01 are all the same... although there was a header variation in the 00-01 resulting in an equal change to their exhaust length... but this may only be in the gsr.

the 00-01 gsr exhaust manifold and catback lenght are now the same as the 94-01 ls and type r.
also the 00-01 ls has the same size front sway bar as the gsr.
