I was wonderin if anyone is usin the zex street/strip cam for the z6, on their stock valve train. Just seein if it's safe to do. Thanks.

 

been good for about....8 months I think...lol. Revved to 7500 about once a day. My bottom end is pretty much shot from other abuse, but the valvetrain is still holding together like a champ. You only need springs.retainer is you want to rev any higher than stock fuel cut off. The cam should pull hard to 7800...so I would rev to about 8 with the cam...but you deffinately upgrades then

I dynoed 114 whp with crappy compression numbers across the board- 120, 135, 125, 175...lol. When I get my new bottom end in, I hope to see the real gains
