i went to the track today.
i ran a 10.4xx with a 2.39 60ft going about 68 mph on stock tires. i willl post the exact times when i get my slips. Is that good for I/E on a ls?

 

10.324 in my stock automatic with a 2.45 sec 60ft.

 

got proof? because i highly doubt that. my friend with a 98 i/e runs a 11.2 best. sorry i just dont see how that is possible

thats really fast for a stock ls man but that time is not impossible
nice time for a ls
my friend with a b16 in a teg rs with dc headers, biger piping ,cai only ran a 10.2
my car probably runs about the same time as you

1/8: 10.244 @ 70.36
1/4: 15.817 @ 87.08

My goal is 15.5-15.4 once i get better tires

can u get traction in second? im thinking some bigger tires will get me to go 69 or 70

 

also my friends b18a1 ran the same time as mine but he had a gsr tranny. shouldnt he make a better time with that gsr tranny?

Not sure what you are asking? Am I spinning the tires in 2nd? NO. Gettign bigger tires will not improve your times, but make ur car slower.

so u got high compression, ihe thats y thast good. whats your 1/4? how u do against gsr's?

never raced 1/4 mile and i have only lost to one GSR on slicks

 

what you see in the sig is what i got...all my plans keep going to **** with this car...i've had over 5 turbos ready to put on but somethin ALWAYS happens...my latest plans for the T3/T4 fell through the day before my birthday when i got caught doin 130 down I35 in austin and got a DWI! I JUST got my license back 2 weeks ago and i had to sell all my turbo stuff to pay lawyer fees. Also, i cant find anyone to buy my (new)bomex kit that i dont want to get new bumpers(hit a deer and was rear-ended by caravan) So until im done with court and all my body work is done and i get some more money, i wont be boosting anytime soon.

and the only thing i can say about my times is that THE DRIVER MAKES THE CAR FAST...i have been told many times that i am the best driver they have ever seen...thanks for the props...

...btw, there are vids of me and my friends racing at Temple(shittiest track in the world)...i was only able to hit a 15.4 but it will give you and idea of the car's potential when i get some cash.

 

stock tires? are you stripped? or you just have a high flo and an intake?

 

stock tires, suspension, full interior and spare...only intake, high-flow cat, and ME...
...car weighed in at 2,750lbs w/ me in it...along with 2 12's, a HUGE amp, and HUGE box...

...next time i plan on going all out to be stupid and take the hood off, take the intake off, and unbolt the exhaust...also, im gonna take out all the speakers and the spare...
