Eibach Camber Kit (for my prokit) Which one should I get
Eibach has 2 rear camber kits. One adjusts .25 degrees and the other adjusts .75 degrees. I have koni yellows and I will be getting the prokits put on too. I'm not sure if I will need the .75 degrees of adjustment because of the minimal drop. But because they are the same price, should I just get them to be on the safe side?
Thanks
Thanks
I have the Eibach Pro-kits on my car and don't need a camber kit. I got an alignment done and its just within spec (or just out of spec, I forget).
I don't think its worth the money for the camber kit. Its not that severe of a drop unless you go really low on the Koni perches.

I've had the Pro-Kits on my GSR for a few years, now, with no camber kit. You don't need one. It'll align correctly without it. As a general rule of thumb, you don't usually need a camber kit with a less than 2" drop. Just get a 4-wheel alignment and you should be good to go. I've had my alignment done numerous times, with no trouble at all.
Thanks for the responses guys. Yea, I'm aware that the minimal drop of the prokit does not warrant the purchase of a camber kit, but the problem is that I already bought camber kits for the front and rear when I had my sportlines though I did not pick them up. I already spent the money and the only reason why I want a camber kit is so I can have the ability to dial in the camber. I just was wondering if I should just go for the .75 degree just to be on the safe side.
Thanks
Thanks
Hey Kanji!!! *See u on the bench*
hehe
well, i too have the pro on koni yellows. I don't need a camber kit. I am in the factory specs as well. Meaning it is less the 1degree. You should be fine with your setup.

So I guess what everybody is trying to say is that I should not worry about being able to dial in the camber and being able to have that adjustability. If I dont put on the camber kit, wont every tire have a different reading despite the fact that they will be within factory spec.
i've read somewhere on the board that some people have ended up with uneven drops with the eibach springs. when i say uneven i mean like one side of the car, lets say the passenger side starts to sag after a little while..have any of you have this happen to you?

Kanji, take a lot look at my car at the Auto X. if i remember correctly, i am about -.25 in front and -.75 rear. Something like that. But its hard to tell by the eye. Just get ber sure to get an alignment after you install the koni and pro.
Hey Kanji,
Hope the test went well for you... it went pretty well for me... easier than expected.... anyways, for the topic at hand...
I don't believe (me personally) that dialing in different cambers on your kit will make that much of a difference on the road or on the track since you'll only be adjusting max of .75 degrees... however, if you had the ability to adjust greater than that, perhaps you'll notice tighter cornering, handling, etc. on a road course or something. But with .75 degrees... nah, pretty negligible. I think you'd be better off selling it on ebay or selling it to someone who will need a camber kit to adjust after a >2" drop.... with your pro-kits, there is no need for a camber kit to remain within alignment specifications.
HTH.
BTW, paintball was a blast... should've come along man!

MintyDip- I'll definitely make it a point to check your car out since we will be having the same setup. This will give me time to decide if this is for sure the setup I will go for because I wont be able to put my order in till after the sixth of july.
SilverGS- Yea, I did really well on the final. He had the key on his desk after the exam and I had 12 wrong out of the 82 (he took a few out). I think it came out to a 88% or so. I wish I could have gone paintballing with you, i'm sure it would have been a blast.
