Default cant hold steady rpm in nuetral!!

Ok let me try and explain this......when my car is in nuetral I cant hold a steady rpm, like to launch for example. I can bring it up to about 3-3.5k and then its like it hits a fuel cut and jumps back down to idle. Now if I keep my foot on the gas at about half throttle it will just keep doing that, going up to 3k then jumping back down.....anyone have this problem before?? It doesnt happen when I'm driving so I'm stumpt.

I had the same type of thing happen to me. I ran my wideband and found that the ecu was running rich then lean and that was causing the rpm to drop. Try resetting the ecu , that fixed my prob.

It's because of the AFC hack. Mine does the same thing around 2500rpm. I had to swap in some old Accord p/h injectors that I got at the yard, and set my AFC settings back to normal in order to smog. My smog guy didn't care about all the questionable stuff on my car, but he said it had to be able to hold at 2500rpm in order to run the test.
