I passed my Dealer this morning, saw about 7 of the RSX..
gonna stop by tomorrow for a spin..

what am I gonna say to the Salesmen?
"Hi.. I want to test drive the RSX. if it's better than my R, I'll buy it? "

I hate it if they do a followup calls asking how and when I am going to buy..
mebbe I will say: "Yeah I will buy it when the R version is in"...

 

Yep, a friend is a mechanic at a local dealership, and he said they came in last night. Available to the public for test drives as early as this weekend...I'll be trying to get a drive for sure.

What is there to hate about follow ups? You don't have to give out your real number in the first place. Just don't go back to that dealer for a month and they will not remember you at all. I'm sure tons of people will want to test out the RSX, just wait a little. After all, it's an Integra. The trick to have a salesman letting you test drive something which you think they won't at the time is to tell them you will buy the car. Just go in to the dealer tomolo with the mentality that you will "buy" the car that day if everything is right. You can even go and speak to the sale manager and low balling the price.. I bet you won't get the car.

 

I asked my salesman who sold me my TypeR if I could take a test drive while I was getting an oil change and he had this to say:

If we have the RSX Type S in when you stop by we'll "take it out for a shakedown". But we won't powershift.

Dude, change your OWN oil. It takes 15 minutes.

 

FBP_1171, maybe he doesn't want to ruin his manicure! I just got my nails down and I am not going to ruin them with oil! Gaaaawd! As if...
