Default 16 inch light weight racing rims

anyone know of any good 5 lug pattern lightweight racing rims? i was considering the ssr competition. are they any good? and does anyone know whether the rota circuit 8 comes in a 5 lug pattern?

i believe so, what about rota slipstreams 16 in is only like 12lbs i think, my friend has them on his type r and they take a good beating

The SSR comps are good lightweight rims but the outer lip tends to bend easily. I would either get some volks or spoons (desmonds).

ROTAS !!!! the slipstreams weight 13.5 in a 16 inch and the subzeros are 14.5 in a 16 and a mear 16.5 in a nice looking 17 inch wheel

most of the rota lineup is pretty light, but id say go with slipstreams or the sub zeros

battles are kinda heavy, the slipstreams are replicas of the spoon wheels and they look good for a rcae car look. but for style and speed, i would go with 17" subzero's

The Kosi K1 rims are also light about 13lbs, and are a great bang for the buck rim. I think you can get 4 rims for $700 from tire rack

I have 16x7.5 Kosie K1's and they weight in at 14.75 lbs.... great wheel for autocross, and at $139 each I can't complain. If you are looking for a street setup, then a 7" wide wheel is fine... however, if you are looking for a race setup the extra 0.5" is great for better turn-in.

My rota's are like the same weight or lighter, if you have the money get the spo0n or mugen wheels. why settle for less if you can have the best...

It's the other way around. Rota Subzero looks like Racing Hart CP-035.
