Where to get head work done in San Diego area?
KG precision is who I was planning on going with. Anyone had head work done, want to get an idea of how long I'll be without the ride.

depends how busy they are and a bunch of other factors, but about 1-2 weeks is the downtime... if you're going to O.C. from SD, yeah, try K.G. If you're willing to get the job done at other places in So Cali, try out Portflow, J.G., or alaniztechnologies.com . I had mine done @ alaniztechnologies and am happy with the results.
i got the competition headwork from http://www.alaniztechnologies.com/
it cost me 1K , but my friend knew him and had Joe hook me up. They are located in Gardena. Let the phone ring a while, they might not hear you. Just ask for Joe. He's a really good guy. Before you call him though, have a budget/ultimate goal/list of modifcations so you can tell him what you'd like. It helps when he knows what your ultimate goal will be, be it turbo/NA/nitrous/SC. He will answer all your questions. He's a great guy. Just make sure to catch him before race season, because he's really busy then!

get it done at a.e.b.s. in san diego, they have a flow bench and do amazing work, do a search for their info and ****
I called AEBS today, and the guy I spoke to was cool as hell. We had a long conversation where he convinced me to get a turbo instead of an SC. I just don't know if I can go 6 weeks with no ride. i need to buy a head that is already flowed and has everything in it, and just give them mines.
ya i would suggest just gettin another head because it will be worth the wait, trust me. glad i could help

just so you guys know... AEBS doesnt do the headwork themselves. they have it sent to Matt's place (Speed Machines.) if you get it straight from speed machines you dont have to pay the middle man. this could be hearsay but i've seen the shop. these guys seem very knowledgable and they have the time slips to prove it.
edit: i was told they were the brains behind MMRUSA.com and left to start their own company.
