i've heard a theory from my friend to help me out when lookin for a new motor... i orginally was looking for a 5spd. sohc vtec d16z6/y8... cant i get an automatic d16z6/y8 longblock and use my stock single cam tranny? he did it to his b16 and said that the automatics take much less abuse than a manual one.. hope you followed what i said... thanks all

 

could be ture...but it depends on the way it was driven too...you ever see a guy do a neutral slam
