if so how much power did u get/feel? where in the power band?

 

ive heard that people who run stg 2's make less power that people who run stg 1's on stock compression.

 

i made 215 whp w/ stage 1 skunks with 13.0 to 1 cpr

 

nice....what was the rest of your setup

 

my friend's itr made 205.9whp/134tq with skunk stage 2's on stock compression. The whole motor is stock with all bolt-ons. We just changed the inner valve springs with portflow springs and kept the outter stock, other than that the motor is stock!

No HONDATA.....skunk chipped p72 ecu and vafc, 2001 itr

 

would i make good power with stage 2 with stock gsr comp????
i will be building my bottomend later on

Did a search and found this, but the question wasn't really answered.

Plan to be running skunk2 stage 2 on stock compression until I can afford to build the bottom end, would I be suffering any conciquences by running on stock compression?

Are you going to kill your motor by running on stock compression? No. Are you going to be making less power than the other guy with higher compression? Probably. High lift cams like high compression, and seem to perform better with it.
