debating between getting a prelude sh or a type r, found both with low miles, can you guys give me the pros and cons of each car, and personal opinion, thanks guys, need to know soon

 

the type R is bad as hell - i think of it as the ultimate in stock imports... the SH prelude is also very nice and the ATTS system on the SH is really helps at track racing.

i wanted a prelude SH b/c i think they are pretty rare and they look great when modified. The type R is also pretty rare and looks great when modified or stock as well.

I guess it is a personal preference.

What are your intentions for either of the cars?

 

daily driver, mostly, with some modifications, nothing hefty, looking for my best bang for my buck

 

Type R. SH weighs a lot, and the ATTS system will never replace a mechanical LSD.

the itr gets my vote.... but the sh is damn good 2n choice i think haha... but i think we in this forum are all a bit biased in favor of the type r.

 

No bias at all but I'd get the R. They are rare and you will probably not have another opportunity to get one with low miles. The R can beat the SH too.

 

I too would go Type R considering your plans - a stock type R is better than alot of highly modded cars.

 

whats the weight of the type r compared to the sh? and what advantages can be obtained from the preludes bigger motor?
