nasty crunching noise during hard braking on 93 ex
is it like a creaking sound??? Do you have to mash the brake to get any stopping power?? If so, you may need to bleed your brake line. Maybe you have bad rotors.
these are brand new rotors, when the car is at a full stop and a i mash the brakes it doesnt make noise, this only happens when the car is in motion \but yes its more of a creaking noise rather than a crunch
I know what you have.Mine does the same thing. if it feels like the dash is getting hit w/ something and shakes have you suspension checked out. i had mine checked out and the bushings on the rear control arms were breaking off, so when you slow down it shifts and makes that noise and vibrations. the parts are around 60 dollars per rear control arm. reply to this if you need any other info

My guess is bushings. I just had to replace the bushings on my 93 and it made a huge difference. Mine was also making that noise before I replaced the bushings. Also, got to find out that the dude who had my car before me decided to be cheap and buy 96+ suspension for a 93. Modifying a bushing to fit a 96+ shock fork in the rear is a bitch.
