The new Accord doesn't need a supercharger, or turbo. It's fast enough as it is.

can you imagine a 300 HP accord? that would be nice.... I am sure you can get 60 more ponies from a SC

60hp from a supercharger? I doubt that. You won't see that big of a gain because it's low boost. A turbo would be able to produce 60hp, if tuned properly.

You cant turbocharge the 7th gen V6, the exhaust manifolds/headers are all one piece with the cylinder head.

No reason the 6th gen V6 shouldnt make 260 crank hp with an SC.

nick the 6th gen gets 240 HP from a comptech SC the 7th gen may be able to get 290 - 300 HP guessing 50 - 60 hp from a SC

it all depends on the pully they use and how much boost they want to use...and also, it's a heavy car...i've seen a brand new v6 run at the track (though it was auto) and it's best was a 15.2...with the 6 speed i'm guessing a solid 15 or possible high 14's with a good driver...but these are the same numbers as a 5th gen h22 accord would pull...so would it really be worth all the money and time and effort to make a 300hp supercharged accord that might be capable of low 14's...i'd rather spend the money elsewhere...like on an evo 8!

You can always turbo a car and no it does not have to be expensive. There is always a cheap way to do it, just depends on how willing you are to do the work yourself.

that is crank power I believe as C&D only talk about engine output not hp at the wheel.

exactly where are you going to place the turbo? the 7th gen cars have no seperate header for the exhaust, it is intergrated into the cylander head. so In order to turbo it, you would have to replace the head and by a header as well along with the turbo kit.

edit inset picture. please note item 31
