Seattle track day at SIR
Hi Guy's,
I have statred organizing a track day at SIR. I have talked to a few of my friends here and they have expressed interest. Here is a copy of the e-mail I sent out to them with most of the information:
"OK Guy's. Here is some more information. I called and talked to the lady at
the school and here is what she said. If we can get 12 or so people all with
our own cars, we could do one of their one day performance driving schools.
They would be able to put us all in one group so that we would be together
all day with the instructors. They usually run 2 groups. The other would be
the public participants. They would be able to cater breakfast and lunch.
Here's the good part. Discount! If I go to her with 12 people for sure with
our own cars ready to go she would be able to give us a discount. She could not tell me at the moment how much, because she would need to see how many people we have.
So let's go for it guy's. You know you want to! haha. The dates available
are Aug 20th (my birthday!),September 10th and 24th and 2 dates in October not published yet. Personally I would like to do it on my birthday, but money may make us wait until September. Depending on how many of us can do this, I'll wait to send out invites to the web boards I am on.
If you would like to do this, please drop me a line. I am taking names now.

We would be doing one of their one day instructional courses. Normal price is $395 for the day, but like I said above, she would be able to give us a discount. So far I have 2 maybe 3 names including me. Please send me an e-mail at james.e.boyer@intel.com if you are interested.

I must have missed this post. I would have been in for sure. I go to SIR twice a month. I have about 7-8 more days scheduled until November. I would love to have an all Type-R day over there.
