Default Throttle cable

So I got a 92 vx hatch with that oh so powerful d15 SOHC soon to be swapped with a b16a sir2 motor. Ive heard that the throttle cable is to short from my car to fit. Any truth to this? If so, what throttle cable would I have to buy to fit? Also, I highly doubt that my stock cat would fit to the b16 headers, but does anyone know for sure if I would get super lucky with fitting it?

Thanks everyone.

The cat is not going to work but you can rig the throttle cable up to work with a little creativity. I would recommend buying the correct cable though as they are only $25-$30 brand new from Acura. I used a type R throttle cable and got it for $26 for my B17 swap. You can also use the LS throttle cable off a 94+ Integra. The GSR one will not work. I am 99% sure the 99-00 Si throttle cable will also work. Its very easy to change, should take you about 1 minute, seriously.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I didn't think the exhaust would work, damn. guess I'll have to run off headers to go get it custom piped. o well. Thanks again.
