AEM ITR CAI . . . would it fit onto b16a2 engine ?
my cousin wants to buy an aem itr cai for his 00 Si . . .
he was wondering if it would fit into the engine ?
so he asked me to post it on here for him so he can look at the comments . . .
if it fits . . . does it fit perfectly or is there any adjustments/mods to make ?

The ITR CAI would work if you relocate your coolant reservoir, because the CAI for the ITR goes down where the reservoir is because of the ABS and the SI's goes down where the ABS is in vice versa. He can make it work but IMO he should just get a CAI(V2) for the 99-00 SI and be done with it. Just my opinion.

doesn't the new V2 intake also run like a type r cai??? i'm pretty sure i saw one installed onto a civic coupe (only an ex, too) and it used the AEM tranny bracket to make room for the 4"diameter piping.
the itr cai will fit the MOTOR fine. it only has one mounting bracket, and i don't think it lines up perfectly in a civic chassis. i don't think there is a screw hole exactly where there should be, but it could easily be made to work. plus, it'll be 3" instead of the smaller piping that is used for civic applications.

I'm running an ITR AEM CAI on my 2000 Si. I had to bend the coolant reservoir bracket a little to get it to fit. Other than this, it fits pretty well.

How much will the difference be on a B16A2 engine getting air with an
ITR CAI?
More air and through that more power?
Or just better air flow?
