ok So for the last 4 months I been replacing my cluch this is the 3rd that just went out today (about 15min ago) the compuny it Power Quilty "Power Toqure" (sp) the first cluch went out only 2 months after install the second didn't fit even tho it was the same model the 3rd just went out after 3 weeks. the install were done perfictly (Abit slow and painful the installer been doing it for last 25 years so I think he know how!) so the question is should I Sue the compy for 2 tranys +time? or just get a refund form advanced auto and buy a diffrent one?

okay bro how were you driving your car when you installed the new clutch did you let it wear in. Did you check the synchros with the stuff you did on it. perhaps that can be a factor also be sure and check the flywheel or that clutch will be turned to much nahmean bro . you always have to check stuff behind the clutch as well, sometimes it may not always be that you know.

 

shifting at 2.5k light in town (infact I was turning from died stop)driving. I dont push my car to often and not since the factory cluch went out. don't know about the trany right now have not got it apart yet. it felt like I hit a brick wall when it went.

3-4 years now and have never had a cluch go out like this. I bought the car with the reg factory at 136000Mil it was sliping it lasted me to 152000k sliping about 1 1 1/2 years like that this cluch 3 in 4 month less than 2k on all 3 total. got us stumped to tommorow were talking it all apart to see the damage.
